Leora

LEORA BERMAN

Born in South Africa and witness to impacts of Apartheid and colonization, Leora strives  to restore cultural tenacity, and nature-connectedness through founding innovative projects. She founded each of Turtle Guardians, the Travelling Children's Museum and the Anishinaabek Land Trust. She is co-founder with an invaluable team, of The Land Between charity. Leora also leads the wolf, museum and insect projects.

Sarah-Jackson

SARAH JACKSON

Anishinaabe kwe of the Thunderbird Clan from Kettle-Stony Point First Nation, Sarah is the cofounder of the Anishihaabek Land Trust. Sarah works to rebalance and restore the rightful place of Indigenous Peoples with the Land, and in areas of caretaking and leadership in Canada.
