Community Board

This area of our website is all about the amazing communities and individuals we work with just like you! Without a supportive community and dedicated team of volunteers our work to conserve this region and its wildlife would be impossible. Here we will share information about our The Land Between Eco-Hereos, special community update and provide a platform for you to share any relevant environmental updates that are happening in your town!

Our Local Eco-Heros

The Land Between region is an extremely important and unique bioregion! Many amazing groups and individuals have worked tirelessly to preserve the landscape and all the special species that live here. To show our appreciation for all of their work and to share their powerful stories with more communities, we have created our Eco-Heros page! If you would like to nominate a group or individual people contact us at info@thelandbetween.ca

Local Community Newsboard

The Land Between region is vast and home to many different municipalities. Many of us have information or concerns that we would like to share about what is happening in our communities and how the environment is being effected; however we do not have a good platform to share these worries. That is why we have created our Community Newsboard!

If you have anything that you would like to share with the world, please post it on our broad and connect with other concerned citizens too!

Community Talks

These short videos were shot as part of our Land Knowledge Circles initiative. They are inclusive forums to gain insight, find solutions, and build capacity for our communities. In each video, an individual from our community with an intimate understanding of a topic shares their perspective so that we may learn from their knowledge and experience.
