Bird Buddies Logo - gradient

Birds are important bioindicators of ecosystem health, and they are essential for biodiversity around the world; from spreading seeds to removing invasive pests. Bird Buddies help track our feathered friends to estimate how healthy the region is.

The Land Between has birds that with majority of their populations found here; osprey, whippoorwill, nighthawk, red-shouldered hawk, golden-winged warbler...and the region also has more generalist species than all of Ontario; hummingbirds, pileated woodpeckers, and more. Join in and explore the world of birding!
