The Government of Canada is in the process of developing Canada’s first National Adaptation Strategy for climate change. Over the last several months the government has consulted with experts and organisations about the future of climate change adaptation. Those initial consultations have culminated in the recently released “Canada’s National Adaptation Strategy Discussion Paper“. The discussion paper summarises the results of the initial consultations and is now open to the public for commenting.

To make this 45 page document quick and easy to read The Land Between Charity has provided a quick summary below. We have prepared this summary in case you are interested in having your voices heard on a national level. To directly comment on the Strategy please visit https://letstalkadaptation.ca/, click the topic of your interest and submit your comments. The opportunity for the public to comment closes JULY 15

The Land Between is a grassroots charity striving to empower community action and mutual learning to help our local environment.
