Sharing Knowledge About Species and Spaces at Risk
Researchers, Knowledge Holders, Students, Naturalists, Harvesters
Upcoming Circles
Share insights and knowledge. Contribute to discussions to identify research needs, gaps and synergies.
We hope to embrace two-eyed seeing at these circles including in our approach by hosting hybrid Talking Circles in a safe-sharing-space. Therefore, proceedings are co-facilitated between Indigenous Knowledge Holders and charity managers. Proceedings are also not video recorded. Furthermore, we do not expect any Indigenous Knowledge to be shared, rather we are embracing the cultivation of relationships and"walking hand-in-hand": Should any knowledge be shared, we request that no participant use that knowledge in ways without expressed permission from the Indigenous Knowledge Holder.
The goals of the circles are to share knowledge and information related to our vanishing relatives, including spaces, that will enhance our personal capacity and perspectives and that of the sector overall. Also, circles will include exploratory discussions to identify research and conservation needs.
Attend in-person or online:
- In-person: Honorariums and travel support available for in-person attendance (please indicate in registration form if support is needed)
- Remote: Zoom links will be sent after registration for remote attendees
