Support nesting turtles and their hatchlings this summer!
Every year, under strict permits, our team hits the road in cottage country during turtle season to guard nesting mother turtles, excavate eggs from at-risk nests laid near roads, incubate the eggs at our headquarters, and release the hatchlings back into the wild. This process, which spans nesting season in June all the way to hatchling release in August, is known as "headstarting", and it gives the hatchlings a 19x better chance at reaching adulthood than they would have without our intervention. We also conduct research while on the road and help turtles cross the road too!
This year, you can support our work by making a donation that will fund the purchase of materials and supplies we need to conduct our turtle conservation work through our first ever Turtle Registry! All donations are receipted for tax purposes.
