Bioregionalism is a goal that is embedded in all that TLB does.
Bioregionalism is a sense of belonging and also a sense of responsibility to a landscape. It is a collective consciousness that values all of the unique and diverse features of a region - from its natural assets, to its culture and socio-economy. Bioregionalism results in stewardship and cooperation of all peoples and sectors.
All projects that TLB undertakes support new knowledge and fosters new relationships in order to contribute to bioregionalism. While each project contributes to bioregionalism, our cornerstone project has the landowner in mind- it honors the lived experience and local knowledge- LAND KNOWLEDGE CIRCLES.
