Donate to protect and conserve Ontario's turtles.
All 8 of Ontario's turtles are currently at risk of disappearing due mainly to habitat loss and motor vehicle collisions. Turtles play an incredibly important role in maintaining water health by keeping our water clean and they are also important biodiversity agents. Without them, our wetlands will be at risk.
We accept donations through credit card and PayPal. All donations are receipted for tax purposes.
About The Land Between
The Land Between was established in 2006 to research and protect a bioregion of the same name that spans Parry Sound and Orillia in the west to the Ottawa Valley in the east. As Southern Ontario's last intact wilderness, it is an area of conservation opportunity. The Land Between oversees a number of keystone projects, including the Turtle Guardians project, a turtle and wetland conservation project operating within Ontario's Cottage Country.
