Other TLB Tools and Resources:

  • Presentations are a great way to learn about the A B C’s of TLB- The abiotic, biotic, cultural, demographics and economy of the region- contact us to book a venue. An honorarium is requested to cover mileage and costs.
  • Course Curriculums for grade and secondary schools have been developed to complement the documentary and mobile App. They are ODGE compatible with components of First Nations, Geology, Geography, History and more. They are free for download:LandBetween-CourseGuide
  • TLB Skink magazines- filled with fun facts and new discoveries, the annual magazine is available to Friends of TLB.  Samples: Skink Vol2. pdf
  • Freshwater 101/the Freshwater Toolkit- Coming Soon- tools for water stewardship
  • Keep in touch through our social media platforms of Facebook and Twitter, to receive our “Did U Know” posts, fun facts, current news, and links to resources
  • Turtle Workshops: Become a Turtle Guardian, and get access to free information, workshops and forums on Turtles at Risk and Wetland Habitats
  • Site Visits and Stewardship Plans. In 2015 TLB has introduced site visits, to help landowners manage and stewards significant natural lands. Contact us for more details. We may apply a fee or request a donation to coverage mileage.

  • Kawartha Turtle Trauma Centre (KTTC)  is involved in the recovery of Ontario turtles. The Centre saves injured native turtles and releases them back into their natural habitat. For turtle drop-offs, the Centre is located in Peterborough, Ontario:  www.kawarthaturtle.org
